What Makes It Special
Most festivals give you three days and call it a weekend. Ottawa Bluesfest gives you nine nights spread across eleven days and calls it July. The 2026 edition runs from July 9 to 19 at LeBreton Flats in the heart of Ottawa, and the lineup is a genre-hopping marathon that makes no attempt to stay in one lane. All ticket holders will receive OC Transpo service to and from the festival site, making travel convenient for attendees.
For Newcomers
Unlike typical 3-day festivals, Bluesfest lets you pick individual nights, so you don't need to commit to all nine. LeBreton Flats sits right in downtown Ottawa, walking distance from Parliament Hill, the ByWard Market, and some of the best poutine in the country. Transit is included in ticket prices. If you're settling in Ottawa and want to discover Canadian music alongside international acts, this is an unmissable July event—especially with the special Ottawa 200th birthday celebration.
